A core part of the company growth plan of RMBIO is to expand the current products and services portfolio.  This is being achieved through internal research and development and the development of external strategic partnerships within the scientific community in research, product development, and products and services commercialization. 

RMBIO is actively seeking mutually beneficial collaborations to compliment its key capabilities and competencies in the following areas:

• Manufacture of standard animal blood fractionated products such as lipoprotein, albumin, immunoglobulin, transferrin and thrombin;
• Manufacture of customized animal blood fractionated products such as specialty albumins like Sulphydryl blocked albumin and lipid/albumin mixes;
• Custom liquid filtration & formulation under aseptic conditions for products such as raw bovine serum;
• Custom liquid fill and finish under aseptic conditions for small volume runs and vial sizes;
• Mammalian cell culture supplement and media development and production for animal-containing and animal-free media.

GIRUS Life Sciences is a three year old biotech company in San Jose, California focusing on development of proprietary products that increase yields in bio-manufacturing. GIRUS was first involved in introducing small molecule yield enhancers (the Regocel™ brand) to the market. GIRUS' product portfolio includes animal-free supplements, media, and stem cell expansion products.
